Wyze vs Ring vs Blink: Which Budget Camera System Wins?
I have used all three camera systems in my home over the past four years. Here is my honest breakdown.
Price
Wyze Cam v4: $36. Blink Outdoor 4: $80 ($60 in multi-packs). Ring Stick Up Cam: $100. For tight budgets, Wyze wins.
Subscriptions
Ring Protect: $4/month per camera. Blink Plus: $10/month unlimited. Wyze Cam Plus: $2/month per camera. Wyze also gives free 12-second event clips without a subscription.
Video Quality
All shoot 1080p. Wyze v4 has the best night vision with its Starlight sensor. Ring has the best HDR for bright backlighting. Blink is serviceable but nothing special.
My Pick
For budget homeowners: Wyze. Cameras are cheap, subscription is cheap, and microSD local storage means you can skip the subscription entirely. I run four Wyze cameras with zero ongoing cost.
